How do i start looking good without makeup again? I need to for modeling!?

I wanted to get into some modeling, but i think i wear a little to much makeup right now, and i look really good naturally but my complexion has done a little downhill lately.

Since i started to wear foundation about 7 months ago i dont look as good naturally anymore.

I slowed down on using foundation and only use it about once a week,

and i am constantly cleansing my skin and washing it, but i still have a couple red acne scars on my face, and my skin is smooth but i don't feel like i look to good without foundation, and now since i wore foundation in the summer the SPF in it blocked the sun and now my face's skintone doesnt match my body's without me using the foundation, so should i start to go tanning or will this defeat the whole purpose of trying to keep my skin healthy and natural?

I really want to go for a natural tan look like Keira Knightly.

Any recommendations on a way i could get rid of acne scars and keep my complexion clear looking without using foundation, and what do you think about tanning? Any help would be great, Thank You! (:How do i start looking good without makeup again? I need to for modeling!?
Your best bet is to see a dermatologist who will recommend the right products for your skintype, and also help you get rid of the acne scars, which may require a light chemical peel or microdermabrasion. It's less expensive to go to a doctor and get the right regimen than trying hundreds of different face washes, creams etc to find what works for you.

Don't get a suntan - it can create hyperpigmentation but also lines and dryness. Try using a gradual facial self-tanner - many have moisturisers in them, or just a tinted moisturizer and bronzing powder for a glowHow do i start looking good without makeup again? I need to for modeling!?
first off, keira knightleys skin isnt natural - she almost wears makeup foundation every single day for her job - creating movies, photoshoots, premieres, etc.

try switching your foundation to a tinted moisturizer - it works just as well but its also much better for your skin.

remember to drink lots of water (8 glasses/2litres/16oz) daily to hydrate your skin, moisturize twice a day and exfoliate twice a week.
Bio-Oil works really well for evening out your skin tone/lightening acne scars.

It's available at Walgreen's.

Don't go tanning...

This would damage your skin and create freckles/sunspots.

If you're short on time, try using sunless tanning lotion, but only use it on the parts that it is necessary (the lighter parts).

This might turn out a little fake though.

Use a tinted moisturizer with an SPF, it will even out your skintone, protect your skin from the sun, and it looks a lot more natural than foundation.
number one, dont tan if you want your skint o look better for MODELING. you are just going to ruin it.

What you should invest in is a very good cleanser, and a moisturizer with self tanner. This makes your skin not only cclear and smooth, but not pastey white, just use every other day or so. I do every day but i live in Vegas so i am pretty tan so to keep up with extremely tan skin i would say do it every morning.

Just of course after you put it on, let it dry. Dont go and yank your white T over your head afterwards or your T is gonna match your face! hehe
STOP washing your face so much!!

I have acne, and my skin gets amazingly clear when I ONLY wash it twice a day, at the very most. Use a gentle cleanser also, don't use harsh chemicals, they will only accentuate the blemishes.

Honestly, just stop using the foundation for a little while. It's best to stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen, but your skin will pick up enough color from just everyday life if you stop wearing the foundation. That will also probably even out your skin tone.
Wash your face with natural products 2 times a day (morning and night)...scrub 1-2 times a week...drink lots of water and eat healthy...moisturize your face after every time you wash it... for the day use a spf oil free moisturizer and at night try a bit of oilive oil and tea tree oil (blend well and only a bit)...use a mask 1-2 times a week on the days that you are not going to scrub...

tanning is so bad for your skin...

it makes your skin dry and it speeds up the process of getting wrinkles...

I'd use a ';green'; (natural) Bronzer if you want a tan. Keira is pretty pale so I'm sure she only uses makeup to achieve that ';tanned'; look.
