Well, you would be surprised, you can go to elle.com, and view the designer shows and you could see anything from Maybelline great lash mascara to Shu uemera mascara or cosmetics. It is usually each makeup artists likes and dislikes. Sometimes I have seen Loreal, other times Nars.
I use Mac when I'm doing runway, because they have bright and brilliant colors. They stand out from far away, and since Mac is well known for makeup artists, they make specially formulated products just for that. There is thicker foundation and that sparkle gold foil powder to press on your skin.


Plus they have yellows and greens and reds for your eyes!





I used to use this makeup that was only made for makeup artists called Trucco, but I think they started selling it to regular customers a few years back.
depends who they work for... if there is a lot to cover up they use a make up called camouflage... it is so thick that it is super hard to apply, thats also the make up make up artists use for movies.
