i want to look good with cheap make-upAll the gurls out there, i just cant seem to look great in make up. Any tips on how to look like model makeup?
yes.. first off... i think a good combination with eyeshadows is extremely important. wear two colors that contrast.. most people use a light shade and darker shade of the same color... put the light color on your eye, from your eyelid upto the lash.. then put the darker color from the eye lid to the crease... then use a brush to blend them in.. that way it looks as if the dark color was fading away into a lugher shade... i recomend usiong liquid eye liner... it looks better, doesnt smugg as easy... and it looks great...

if you have oily skin and your eyeshadows and eyeliners dont stay in place, try putting a bit of power on your face before applying anything to your face.. foundation might work as well.

Remember that the key to make up is to make it seem as natural as possible... as if it were all in place, reguardless of what colors you use.

you learn new things by practicing.. i might sound like a make up loser but iwant to be a make up artist so most of the time im in the bathroom trying new things when i get the chance... so yea... good luck!!All the gurls out there, i just cant seem to look great in make up. Go to MAC if they don't have a MAC store where you live try the MAC counter located inside of Nordstroms or Macy's. MAC isn't what I would call cheap but they are inexpensive. If it is a slow day one the salespersons will do your face for free. Explain to them the look you're going for and ask them for tips on how to achieve this. By the way, most models just play up their best feature, figure out what this is for you and work it!
Are you familiar with MAC cosmetics? Weel, I know they are not cheap - but you can pay for makeup lessons (which I am sure are not cheap either) - but they can teach you how to apply makeup in a professional manner. Then you can either opt to buy their makeup which will probably last a long time %26amp; not irritate your skin or anything or you can just continue using what you have.
alot of models wear makeup that is close to their skin tone to make it look natural, for a foundation i would suggest a matte mouse that is your skin color, then a light eyeshadow that is close to your skin color but not exactly matching. then put on some mascara to have your lashes stick out, maybe even curl them with an eyelash curler. you can find all of this stuff at a local drug store so it shouldnt cost too much $

**remember less is more, dont put on too much because then you'll look like a clown
yea instead of using those eyeshadow brushes that comes with the eyeshadow use the ones with the hairs on them they spread the eyeshadow more evenly and it looks good too
Go to one of the make up departments in one of the big department stores and try and find someone who will show you how to apply makeup for your face. Some of these stores will give you a free makeover if they think you are interested in buying.
just go with natural tones and less make up .... just go with like a mascara, a little blush and like a chapstick or lip gloss with maybe a little cover up if needed.
the trick to makeup is to make it look like your not wearing any at all. with your lips if you have dark skin use a medium color and if you have light skin use a soft color for your eyes use a color that is close to your skin color and if your eye lashes are full then dont use mascara(i dont) and if you dont then use mascara and eye liner i dont use it because i dont know how to aply that well. GOOD LUCK!
some girls look great with-out any make-up..or just dont apply a-lot!
