Should a model buy her own makeup?

Like if she's hiring a photographer to do her portfolio, I've heard some models have to bring their own clothes and makeup. If so, what types of makeup should she bring to the photo shoot?

Example: eye-liner, lipstick, etc.

This would really mean a lot to me! Thanks!Should a model buy her own makeup?
you should bring everything just in case, sometimes they have make up for you but sometimes they need you to bring it. so clothes and makeup should be brought just in case. bring everything. EVERYTHING. because they need a variety of make up at a photo shoot.

well i think they should talk to the photographer if they have a chance and should maybe just ask. but if you cant get ahold of them i would just bring anything and you can decide there what and how much to put on. but pretty much just bring eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, foundation, blush, etc.
if she is hiring a photographer on her own (meaning her agency is not arranging it) then she needs to do her own makeup, or hire a makeup artist to work with her on the set. She will need to bring a variety of makeup so they can do many different looks - fresh faced, sexy, retro, etc. It's easier if she hires a makeup artist with his/her own kit to work with her on the shoot. It will cost at least $100 but at least her makeup will look professional, not like she did it herself
